Gargnano
On the quieter, more refined western shore of Lake Garda, Gargnano is a small historic harbor village of aristocratic villas and palazzi, lemon houses and olive groves, within the Alto Garda Bresciano nature park.

The village
A small harbor, a long history
Narrow lanes, a modest waterfront and centuries-old palazzi give Gargnano its measured calm — an elegant alternative to the busier towns of the lake.

On the water
A sailing tradition
Sailing has shaped the village for generations. Boats cross the lake daily, and the water is never far from view.

In the hills
Olive groves and lemon houses
Above the shore, terraced groves and historic limonaie climb into the hills of the nature park, with paths for slow walking days.

At the table
Lakeside restaurants
Small trattorie and lakefront tables serve the cooking of the western shore — lake fish, olive oil, lemons.
